I was given an original CC in May. It was in a garage for at least the last 35 years. the engine was destroyed. It does not have a mower deck as well. I could not pass up the price (free) - get it out of here. So, I guess I have to look for parts to put it together.

My grandfather had a cub original that was always garaged and ran perfectly. It looked as if it had just rolled off the show room floor. Last fall my dad let it go for only $200 and I have begged the buyer to sale it back, but as of today he has told me no everytime. He tells me he doesn't know what its worth. Does anyone have a decent estimate of what a perfect cub original would go for today.

You're doing a great job :woohoo: and I'm getting round to thinking that I ought to see if I can pick up a Cub Cadet here in the UK as a future project.

I'd offer to buy your's when you've finished it but as they say.....

Cadet1.jpg

Sorry, I don't have a '62 ad for the Cadet so '66 will have to do for now. I have another from '66 if anyone wants me to post it.
