Two bored kids, a tractor , a sled.

My son is home on his winter break & despite all the video games, toys to play with & choirs that don't get finished he still gets bored. :notworthy:

Today in an effort to keep him busy while I was in my shop....I turned him & his step brother loose on my trusty 1055 takeing turns pulling each other on sleds & snowboards.

(It's what red neck kids have to do when they don't have hills)

That 1055 is a tuff old tractor & about the only one Tay hasn't broke yet.

Watching them today reminded me of when one of my friends fathers used to pull about half a dozen of us behind his old Sears GT.

Tobagons & saucers all linked up with ropes.

we used to see how many kids we could get behind a snowmobile....after a bit we realized how dangerous it was should one kid become entangled. that fun ceased quick. hard to beleive that as kids we were smart enough to extinguish such an unhealthy activity.

that being said, it wasnt a week ago i strapped on the skiis and "waterskiied" behind the snowmobile for a good solid afternoon. good practice for up and coming downhill season.

we have also tied car hoods under matresses, tubes of course, snowboards, snow scooters, plastic sleds and even just our bodies.

Heck, we used to use a pickup truck to pull us around on an old carhood. It wasn't

long a the town peace officer decided he didn't think to much of it and brought it to a screaching halt. It was just to bad that he was my neighbor. I couldn't argue with him at all. See Ya, Bye Burly

We should do a poll...seems the horses are more fun in the winter...at least they get used more often. I've moved snow 3 time already in the last 2 weeks. Nice pictures. :notworthy:

As long as they had fun and didn't break your tractor, that's the main thing. :notworthy:
