anybody know anything about 16hp cast iron briggs

BIGG backfire no run thats all i can get. i had it apart for crankshaft swap, but lined everything up i think........what about the gas-kerosine timing?????? im talking about a "320000" :banghead:

if it back fire bad you may have sheared the key way

thats the thing i had it all the way down to the block except valves. new key new condencer, it sounds like a 10 guage!!

i have a 15hp on a unico never had it apart i can tell you it's i good engine have you checked the points? once i has the condenser on the wrong side of the coil on a kohler took me 3 day to figure it out
