64lawnranger 0 #1 Posted December 1, 2009 I've got the opportunity to buy a blade like this....but will it fit my suburban 550??? I also cant seem to find a picture of one fitted to a tractor, anyone have one mounted up to their tractor with a picture??? Pro's or Con's to this blade as opposed to the HD-42 front mounted blade? wallfish 15,918 #2 Posted December 1, 2009 That's the blade that I have for my RJ-58. I have both styles but haven't used them yet so I can't give you any pros or cons. It seems that you see alot of those mounts modified so the blade lifts higher. I have a 400 outside that I can check to see if the holes are already there to mount it up. wallfish 15,918 #3 Posted December 1, 2009 My 400 has the holes to mount that up to the frame so that should work if you get it. The main difference with this one is that you will have to get off the tractor to angle the blade. The other uses a foot pedal to disengage the index and a rope to pull so you can angle it from the seat.
