case442 130 #1 Posted October 12, 2009 Hi All, I broke my D-180. the ear of the "closure plate" that holds the PTO bracket on broke off while cutting my grass. I have another plate from my parts tractor but in looking at it, I removed the 4 bolts holding it too the block but it won't come off and I don't want too break it also. My manual indicates removing the c clip or retaining clip but I dont see how that is holding it too the block. Has anyone removed this plate, and is this what I need to do. I would like to get this repaired as soon as possible as I would like to rototill the leaves into the garden. Thank You, Mike Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
