Recommended Posts

I recently acquired a 1970 Charger 12 Automatic. I was wondering if anybody has tried this universal synthetic atf in the hydro? Thanks, Roger :scratchead:

Why does this question keep coming up? Use what it's designed for, and you'll never be sorry.

I searched the transmission forum and I did not see any discussion about synthetic aft. I was just curious if anybody had tried this do to (supposedly) better lubrication and heat resistance. Thanks, Roger

Roger, If you know what was in it run that, I have a 69 Electro and on the sticker on it, it said to use type "A" well they do not make it anymore, so I found out on here you can use the Dexron III in replacement, on the synthetic I am not sure, so do not want to tell you wrong.
