I have made a home made exhaust ready for my c141 when its done, i dont want to burn off the new paint on the newly sprayed hood. . its made from a diposable argon gas bottle and some steel pipe i had laying about and a lot of welding and grinding. i have tried it on my c121 for the sound and its about the same as the original exhaust.

I like the exh. looks very clean, did you make a suport to hold the batt. that way or are they diff than here, youra mounts front to back, mine all mount side to sides

hi kelly. 12 months ago the battery went dead, i had a spare in the garage but was to big to fit, so i put temporary brackets on to make it fit, so that i could stiil use the tractor, and its been like it ever since, to be honest i had forgot all about it. i will have to sort it out..

How did you make sure all the gas was out before you cut in to it?

with a small screwdriver i just pushed the valve down to see if there was any pressure left in it. Then i got technical, i knocked the brass fitting off with a big hammer then drilled the top and bottom out. but make sure the pipe that goes in through the bottom goes 3/4 of the way into the can and sealed at the top ( welded ) and 4 rows of holes or so around the tube which will be the baffle. the slot i cut in the top tube just cuts down the bark a bit, but to face away from the driver.. good luck with it and let me know how you get on. :hide:

Wish I could weld thin. Great idea there, I have a hunch there will be a lot people copying it. I swear, that's the best looking stack of that type I've seen on a Wheel Horse.

Superb stack, I think it really suits the C series with the Ag/tri-rib setup. A proper mini-tractor look

I wish someone made/sold these over here. There's nothing like it off the shelf for a WH. I can't be the only one who would pay because they don't have the necessary skill/equipment to make one, or (sadly) the spare time to learn.

What about the people who want to keep a clean / factory look? It looks like that bottle would be a tad tall to do a top inlet / side outlet. Do you think it would work to do a side inlet & a side outlet? This way you can adjust the height of the inlet vs outlet?

I want to do some kind of aftermarket exhaust for my Bronco, but don't really want a stack as there are allot of low trees in my yard.
