83 C-125 8 speed Restore

Recommended Posts

WHC-125

Lately I have been working on restoring my C-125. I have stripped everything down and cleaned with acetone, then primed, and painted. The motor has been completely torn apart with alot of new parts such as points, plug, carb rebuild, gasket kit put in it, head was taken off and cleaned, oil pan was cleaned, new battery, new seat, new air filter, and more. Here are some pictures before and what it looks like as of today. I still have to paint the black on the hood and paint the motor and a few other small pieces but it is nearing the end.

The next thing to restore is the plow as I have already restored the deck.

Looking good! Curious as to what brand black that is? Is it semi-gloss? Looks like you have nice straight edges on hood with the black :scratchead:

Chris,

Looks good. You may want to get in touch with Eldon for some foot rest pads to go on those clean footboards...

The restoration is complete except for a few minor things to do and to paint the plow.
