Wilsonrl48747 0 #6 Posted September 20, 2009 Now THAT is a trailer. Very nice work. MUCH better than the little carts that are standard fare from TSC or Sears. :scratchead:
Don1977 604 #7 Posted September 20, 2009 We also built two trailers out of large electrical panel boxes that my neighbor got at work. They were close to the same size as mine, and we were lucky that no holes were punched in the back or sides. Here is a picture of the trailer from a couple of years ago when I had a break in my water line.

Save Old Iron 1,563 #11 Posted September 21, 2009 Don, any front to back bracing on the underside of the bed ?
Don1977 604 #12 Posted September 21, 2009 Don, any front to back bracing on the underside of the bed ? There is 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/8" angle frame with 2 - 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" cross braces. The front gate on the trailer is a 6" JR I-Beam fasten with a couple of angle clips and 1/4" bolts. The top of the sides of the 10 gage pan are reinforced with 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" angle. The trailer is very heavy.
