Tazman001 0 #1 Posted July 26, 2009 Well on a recent trip to Indiana to get my van repaired, I happened upon these wheel weights. They were at the garage I had my van repaired at. They were on a 877 Wheelhorse tractor. The first day I dropped off my van for repair the tractor wasn't there. I came back the next day and the repair men had knocked off early the day before and went to an auction and bought this tractor for resale after repairs. It had the original 8 HP cast iron Kohler on it and was a hydro with hydro attachment lift. I saw the weights on it and asked if they were for sale, and the owner said yes. So I bought them for my WH tractors. I'd like to know if they are original Wheelhorse, or some other manufacturer. Any ideas?
Rollerman 290 #2 Posted July 26, 2009 They almost look like cat trac idlers with the bearings knocked out & holes drilled for the rim. Or I should say they look real similar to the ones on the Cat paver with rubber tracks. Either way they look pretty stout & hefty
Sarge 3,462 #3 Posted July 26, 2009 I'd have to say idlers too, had a chance to weigh them yet ? Should have brought the 877 home, those things are quite surprising when it comes to heavy work . Sarge
