  1. PTO Brake

I use the lining material off an old brake pad. Just hacksaw a piece to size and JB Weld onto the plate.
  2. I need non Wheel Horse Advice

1st question will be ..."does it have oil in it?"
  3. IMPROVING 42" SD DECK

A lot of decks have the front edge raised. That is so that the grass can pass under it without getting bent over. If the grass gets bent over and the blades don't have enough lift then it won't get cut.
  4. What do you feed your engine???

My guess ..... referring to the first pics .... steel throttle or choke plate screw. Screw got in there and bounced around. Maybe the piston was then replaced or the head could be off another engine.
  5. removing headlight bulbs

The bulbs won't just turn .... they need to be pushed down a little to unlock them. So it's push down and turn. If that doesn't work just turn the glass part until it separates from from its brass base. Then take a small screwdriver or such and bend the brass base inwards until it's loose from the socket. That should do it.
  6. From 22" to 23" rear tires

    My 310-8 has 23" rears.
  7. I prefer none of the above methods DIRTY WORK CLOTHES
  8. Spark plug wires for CH22S?

I guess you could confirm it by removing one of the spark plug wires. And if you look up a coil it has the wire attached to it for about $75. So you just better believe it!
  9. 9 pin connectors????

I think I got these from eBay.
  10. Pro pulley removal

    Remove the set screws
  11. I SEE A GAP IN YOUR ATTACH-A MATIC PLATE AND LOCK LEVERS. LOOKS LIKE THEY AREN'T WIDE ENOUGH TO LOCK BESIDE THE BANDS. I THINK YOUR'S GOT BENT SIDEWAYS.
  12. Those bands help center the rod and will not get in the way of the locks. Connect it and post a picture. Someone may see the problem. Here's pics of mine ... your's should look the same.
  13. No lights

Was there a single wire for the lights to the battery that didn't get reconnected?
  14. My 310-8 has 10.50 turfs and that tractor goes anywhere! The 312-8 has ags and they slip on packed ground and pavement but work fine in deep loose dirt.
