    MY FIRST WAS A 1959 RJ MY FATHER NEW. MY FIRST I BOUGHT NEW IS A 1975 B80.
  2. KOHLER 16 HP WIRING PROBLEM

    HELLO, IF YOU NEED A 3 TERMINAL REGULATOR/RECTIFIER FOR A 15AMP KOHLER. I HAVE ONE ON EBAY FOR SALE RIGHT NOW FOR ABOUT HALF PRICE. IT IS NEW IN THE BOX AND TESTED KOHLER UNIT.
  3. KOHLER 16 HP WIRING PROBLEM

    HELLO, I HAVE THE SAME REPLACEMENT MOTOR ON MY C120 TRACTOR. IT HAS THE COMMON WH 15AMP RECTIFIER,ORIGINAL BATTERY IGNITION SWITCH 103990. IF YOU USE THE MAGNETO TYPE SWITCH 103991 IT WILL START, BUT THE CHARGING SYSTEN AND LIGHTS WON'T WORK. HOPE THIS HELPS.

    PT WILL BOLT UP JUST FINE. I DID JUST THE OPPOSITE OF THAT. I PUT A CARB OFF OF 10HP ON A 14HP. IT RUNS JUST GREAT UNDER A LOAD. THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE JET SIZE. YOU CAN SWITCH THEM IF NEED BE.
  5. DID ANYBODY MAKE IT TI THIS AUCTION 4/18/15 AT 12:00 LANCASTER,OHIO. THERE WAS A 1990 520-8 TRACTOR,42" AND 48" DECKS, 48" SNOW PLOW, LEAF VAC AND TRAILER. I TRIED BUT COULD NEVER FINE THE PLACE. GOOGLE MAP WAS WRONG ON DIRECTIONS. JUST CURIOUS ABOUT RESULTS BOWTIE IN CENTRAL OHIO

  7. PROBLEM WITH FUEL PUMP 1995 314

    THE PROBLEM WAS THE OLD FUEL PUMP WAS BAD, THEN THE NEW TAIWAN FUEL PUMP WAS BAD. IT HAD 5/16" PLAY IN THE ARM BEFORE IT WOULD PUMP. THE CAMSHAFT LUBE FOR THE PUMP ONLY AS 5/16" LIFT. THAT WHY IT JUST HAD A TRICKLE OF FUEL WHEN CRANKING THE ENGINE OVER. I CONFIRMED THIS BY TRYING IT ON ANOTHER ENGINE WITH THE SAME RESULTS. SENT THE NEW PUMP BACK TO SUPPLIER FOR A REFUND. PUT A USED ONE ON IT.
  8. BOUGHT A ROUGH 1976 C120 AUTO

    THE OLD TRACTOR IS RUNNING NOW. CLEANED THE FUEL SYSTEM OUT PUT THE OLD FUEL PUMP BACK ON AND IT RUNS GREAT. THE CHARGING SYSTEM DIDN'T WORK. THE PROBLEM WAS THE WRONG IGNITION SWITCH. SOMEBODY PUT ONE IN IT FOR A MAGNETO IGNITION INSTEAD OF BATTERY/COIL/POINTS IGITION. NOW IT CHARGES AND LIGHTS WORK. I WISH THEY PUT PART NUMBERS ON THOSE SWITCHES,THEY WERE BOTH 5 TERMINAL. CHANGED MOTOR OIL AND PUT 1 QUART IN THE AUTOMATIC AND SEEMS TO WORK GREAT. I WILL MOUNT THE SEAT AND TAKE FOR A SPIN SOON.
  9. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY FRIENDS 1995 314-8 (M14 KOHLER) WHEEL HORSE. VERY LOW FUEL PRESSURE WHEN CRANKING ENGINE OVER WITH THE STARTER. JUST A TRICKLE OUT THE OUTLET NOZZLE. I REMOVE THE FUEL PUMP AND PUMP BY HAND AND SQUIRTS 2 FOOT OR SO. THIS IS A NEW PUMP TODAY. THE OLD PUMP DID THE SAME THING. DO THE FUEL PUMP CAM WEAR OUT ON THECAMSHAFT? I'M THINKING A CHEAP BASIC ELECTRIC PUMP. BOWTIE IN CENTRAL OHIO

    I GAVE IT A PRESSURE WASH TODAY IN THE RAIN TODAY. THE ENGINE IS K341S SERIAL NUMBER MAKING IT A 1993. REMOVED THE FENDER,FRONT MULE,REAR MOUNTING BRACKET AND A BRAND HOUR METER THEY NEVER HOOKED UP. I WILL RINSE THE FUEL TANK TOMORROW,CLEAN CARB,PUT THE FUEL PUMP BACK ON AND TRY TO START IT. HAVE YOU GUYS NOTICED HOW THE TIE ROD NUTS COME LOOSE?
  11. JUST PICK UP A 1976 C120 AUTO TONIGHT 4 MILES FROM HOME. I GAVE A $100 FOR IT. PO SAID IT RUNS BUT NEEDS A FUEL PUMP. DECALS AND METAL TAG SAYS 76 C120 AUTO, BUT MOTOR TAG READS K341S AND IT DOES HAVE 10 HEAD BOLTS. WILL TRY TO GET IT RUNNING TOMORROW.HERE ARE SOME PICTURES FOR NOW MORE INFO LATER.

    NICE 310 REPAINT THE MUFFLER AND YOUR THERE. IF YOU GO 8" FRONTS, DON'T YOU NEED TO CHANGE TO THE SHORTER FRONT SPINDLES. WHAT A GREAT TRACTOR
  13. I BOUGHT MY 1982 SK486 NEW IN 1983. I USED IT FOR ABOUT 12-13 YEARS AND THEN RETIRED IT. IT IS JUST TO NICE TO USE ANYMORE, SO I BOUGHT A 314-8. I'M LISTING IT ON THE FOR SALE SITE.
  14. I FINISHED THE 310-8 TODAY,I JUST NEED A NICER SEAT. REPAINTED THE WHEELS,FRONT AND REAR AXLE,FOOT RESTS AND HOOD GRILL BLACK. THE REST WAS SOAP WATER AND POLISHING. YOU GUYS LIKE PICTURES HERE THEY ARE. I THINK I WILL SELL MY 1982 SK486 THAT I BOUGHT NEW. IT IS UNRESTORED $1500
