  1. K 532 coil

Does anyone know where to get a reasonably priced coil for a k 532 kohler. The cheapest I've found is e bay for roughly $58 plus $14 shipping. All the way up to $325. It seems the last coil I got was around $30 but it was just a standard coil. I know this one is a little more involve. Maybe that's just what the price is for this one.
  2. can't pull front wheel off!

That could have been bad. Luckily mine didn't pop like that
  3. D 200 rebuild kit

I have a 74 d 200. I believe that is the k 532. Does anyone know where to source a rebuild kit for the motor. I'm looking for the master gasket set and probably rings. Don't know what else would come in the kit. I took the tractor to the local trade school for a full restoration, but I have to provide the parts. Not a big deal except I can't seem to locate the engine kit through the usual routes, e bay, local mower shop etc. any help is appreciated
  4. can't pull front wheel off!

I had a lot of trouble getting the rear wheels off my d 200. I ended up getting a harbor freight bottle jack and a piece of 4x4. With one side still on I used the jack and wood to push the wheel off from the back side. Put the wheel back on and used it to push the other one off. It did take 3 hands to do it but it was fairly quick once I started putting pressure on it with the jack
  5. D series pump rebuild

What about deep scoring, do those polish out the same as light scratches? Sounds great. My direct email is sagaser1213@hotmail.com.
  6. D series pump rebuild

It sounds pretty involved but I'm sure once I've done it that it isn't as bad as it looks
  7. D series pump rebuild

So my guess is the fluid bypasses around the score marks. Are the plates replaceable?
  8. soooo when I bought my 74 d200 the old man told me the pump was getting weak. Me being the skeptic that I am figured it probable needs a good fluid change and shift lever adjustment. I hate to admit, while those did help, the old man was right. The pump is getting weak. I have another off my parts tractor but I'm unsure if it's internal condition. Does anyone know who rebuilds those or if a rebuild kit is available. The tractor is supposed to be going to the local trade school soon for a rebuild/ restore and figured that would be the perfect time to get the pump rebuilt but I'm not sure where to source the rebuild kit from. I talked to a local hydraulic shop and he said he isn't to familiar with that sunstrand pump, his labor rate was 150 per hour and he said he would have more than 6-8 hours into it. I figured there has to be a cheaper option while not sacrificing the quality of work. Any help would be great. Btw I'm in ravenna (akron) Ohio if that helps.
  9. D200

    Would you entertain 1600
  10. Gt14 3 point

So that looks like it attaches differently than I thought. I thought it had rails that follow along the frame rails but that looks like it mounts across the frame
  11. Gt14 3 point

So it sounds like it would take some fabrication to make a gt loader work on a d. Starting to think I might be better off trying to find a d loader to put on mine that already has the 3 point and pto
  12. Gt14 3 point

I've thought about that, putting the loader on my 200, I'm just not sure what fabrication would be required to make frame mounts, not sure if the pump would mount the same. I know the loader for the 200 mounts the the front and runs off the pto, if the 14 doesn't have the same pto setup then it would probably require fabbing a mount for the pump. Would be easier to find a loader for the 200 if I'm going to go that route.
  13. Gt14 3 point

I'm looking at a gt14 that does not have a 3 point or pto. I have read that they were an option on those models. I was just curious how hard those were to find to put one on if I went that route. I'm interested in it because it has a loader on it. Or would I be better off trying to find a loader for my d200 or d160 that already has the 3 point and pto. I'm not sure how much of a pain either would be to find or install.
  14. D200

So I'm testing the waters as im not really sure of the value. I have what I believe is a 1974 d200. I bought it as a restoration project but have decided to put the effort into my d 160. This tractor runs well. Has a new battery. I just rebuilt the carb and it starts easy. I also replaced the plugs and all fluids and filters. Has the turning brakes on it. The 3 point hydraulics work as does the pto. This is a running useable unit but like all vintage tractors it needs some adjustments and tlc. The 8 gallon tank has been fiberglassed at some point and doesn't leak and had an electric fuel pump installed. Front spindles and steering are tight. I also have a 48 inch side discharge mid mount mower that goes with it. It is not installed but should mount on there with no problems. I'm also throwing in a plow. I don't have the dimensions of the plow but it is a big heavy duty piece. I'm asking 2100 or offer. Call or text me at 330-760-1688. Thanks, bill
  15. I was wondering if there was a difference in the cylinders for the belly lift and 3 point lift on a d series. Essentially they look the same but I'm unsure if if the bore, stroke and pressure are the same. I'm looking at adding a 3 point to my 160. I have a couple extra cylinders and wasn't sure it they are interchangeable or specific for the location
