Don't miss the 2011 "All" Wheel Horse
  2. What engine do I have here?

I would say that is an HT 55 simply by looking at the throttle linkage. 55's had the type you see in the pic, 60's are controlled from the top by a control bracket that bolts on the cylinder bolts. The weird indents on the case by the pulley is because there is an oil pump inside, H 60's have no oil pump.
  3. Quikway FEL

Thanks Nick, I'll give it a try
  4. Quikway FEL

Does anyone know how to adjust the relief pressure up on a Quikway FEL Mine is way too low.
  5. T-1058?

As far as I can see, there is no such tractor. There is a 1054...1055..1056...1057..but no 1058.
  6. Electrolosis Barrel pics

I have had a drive shaft and yoke from a D-250 tiller..(can't get it apart)..in an e-tank for a few hours but I think you should be useing Arm and Hammer washing soda not laundry soap..I set mine up from this ... http://antique-engines.com/electrol.asp Seems to work well.. :omg:

    5. The transaxle fluid capacity is 5.5 qts. (5.25 liters). Using a pump gun, fill the transaxle to the full mark on the dipstick with SAE 90/Hypoid fluid. Strait out of the repair manual

  9. Two New Projects

I think the A-frame looks much better painted...especially WH Red... Now I'll have to get it dirty, to match the tractor..
  10. Two New Projects

Mike...I gave you credit in my post ...yes they are very heavy and I was just makeing sure everything fit and worked..I plan on tapering the bottom of the forks then paint them.. :omg:
  11. 520 H and FEL

I'm sure you guy's remember this..... Well 4 tons of #3 limestone...22 inces of ag tire on each side with 300 plus pounds of weight in the weight box...get in a little bind and...SNAP...you end up with this I put the FEL on another 520 H...minus the duals
  12. Two New Projects

Thank's to the input from fellow RS members, I was able to get two of my projects off my list ( well all but painted).... The first I have to thank kpinnc for his real good plans for a three point A-frame. that can actually be used for alot of things..The plans were for a sleeve hitch adapter... Second Thanks to Nick and C-Series 14..I was able to produce a set of sliding forks for my FEL Now that the final fit is done ,I can remove both and make them look complete with a little paint....Thank's guys
  13. how much gear oil in tiller

Position the tractor and tiller on a level surface and lower the attachment lift so that the tiller tines are on the ground. Set the parking brake and turn the ignition key to off. Remove the key. 2. Clean the area around the lower pipe plug (Fig. 26). 3. Remove the pipe plug carefully because the oil level may be above the level of the pipe plug. 4. If gear lube runs from the case when the plug is removed, the lube in the case is sufficient. Oil may be added as necessary. I copied and pasted this right out of a tiller manual The only tiller I know of that you turn upside down is for a D250
  14. how much gear oil in tiller

Greasing and Lubrication Service Interval/Specification Check the gear lube level in the gear case after every 25 operating hours or once a year, whichever occurs first. Gear lube changes are not required. Gear lube type: SAE 90-140 API service GL-4 or GL-5. Refill capacity: 32 oz. (946 ml) Checking Gear Lube 1. This is straight out of a tiller owner's manual (Model 79370)
  15. how much gear oil in tiller

A tiller only holds a 32 oz to have the correct amount of oil. You don't add oil (3 quarts.. )..until it is full..that creates alot of internal pressure and blows out all the seals. :omg:
