  1. Winter traction

I put Firestone tri ribs on the front , from Miller Tire on my 656 3 yrs ago, they took care of the turf sliding on snow. Still a little problem on ice, as I have no weight other than the blade on the front.
  2. Oil/grease

Thank you, I was not sure if took the same as my 656.
  3. Oil/grease

My Grandson has a c-100. i was doing a little work to it and check the trans fluid, it looked a little milky. I am wondering what the replacement fluid is? It is a 6/8 speed. Thank you for your time and have a good day.
  4. Machine shops near Ephrata Pa for k241 rebuild?

From what I hear from people around that area G&R is a pretty decent shop. I have used C&P here in the Fort. for around 30 yrs. I know of a few Guys that use Napa machine shop here in the Fort. I did not know C&P had a shop in C olumbia city. I am going to C&P here in the fort next week, and I will ask them about Columbia city. I know the feeling about knowledge of the area, I moved to the fort in 1983, and I still have to go to map quest to fiqure out where certain areas around the city/county are located.
  5. :greetings-clappingyellow: Mr. Pettit, I am slowly restoring my 656. I am in need of the knob for the hood latch, knob for the seat pan lock and is there a knob for the brake lock lever. If so I need of that also. Thank you for your time. :flags-waveusa:

  6. 852

Very nice job on the 852. One question, where did you get the seat back?
  7. H60 vs HH60

H-horizontal shaft, HH-horizontal shaft heavy duty cast iron, HHM-horitzontal shaft cast iron medium frame, HM-horizontal medium frame()alum). ,
  8. 90 312-H oil capacity

I used Wolf's head oil for years, as thats what my Father and Grandfather used. But the parts store I was buying it from, decided to go to some off brand. So now I use Napa oil, of which I have had good luck. I know of a few that use the oil, branded Rural King at a 1.79$ a qt. So I guess as thet say, to each his/her own.

What machine shop are you using?
  11. First model with an 8 speed transmission

All though its not factory original, I put one in my 656. Had to do a little modification in the shift lever area. for the hi-low lever and re-work the main trans gear shift lever.
  12. Can anyone identify

Check the ID tag under the dash. It will be T_MN.
  13. C160 is injured

Go to Mcmaster-Carr. All different, shapes, sizes, of ball joints. An a he77 of a lot cheaper than 28$.
  14. Portland

In all aspects, it really takes all 4 days to check out the complete show. My Buddy has a brother that lives in Portland, eliminates the motel/hotel, so we stay with him for the 4 days and return to the Fort on Sunday. But do to goofed up schedules this year we will only make the Saturday show. Be safe in your travel and have a good time.
  15. Portland

Yes as in Jay county. Aug. 24-28th. General public parking is across the street from the show. Flyer states that all ride on vehicles must have liability ins. I have talked to several people at previous shows that said they did not have ins. But in the age of sue crazy people, it is best to have your arse covered. I am checking on the golf cart rental, as Hagerty ins wants 135$ for a year an I am not going for that. Been to the swap meet several times, but not the mini bike show.
