  1. 520H / Harbor Freight

Well done! As far as reliability I repowered a snowblower with the 6.5 Predator. Replaced an 8 horse Briggs. Best $99I ever spent. Going on 3 winters now. Two pulls on the cord and away we go.
  2. My nicest haul yet!

I agree with everyone. That tractor is 95 out of 100.
  3. Johnson workhorse 10 loader

I would have believed you if you said it just came out of the shipping crate. Congrats on a nice loader at a great price.
  4. Sick of snow

We have been getting our Share in N. E. Ohio. About 2' on the ground. Running Out of room to push snow. That old repowered Sears Blower with the Predator Engine really throws it. Best $99 I ever spent. At Least were not as bad off As Boston!
  5. Transmission For Dozer

Nate, just an idea. One hydro Pump with two variable displace- Ment wheel motors. Might find Someone scrapping an old Hustler Mower. The early Struck dozers Were all belt drive. The track Levers had idlers that tensioned The belt. You may have been Down this road. I would like to Know what you do come up with. Mike Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  6. Project for my 518, KWIK WAY LOADER

I feel your pain. I have had an Abcessed tooth and broken bones. I'll take the broken bones. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  7. C-120 ELECTRIC LIFT ?

Here you are. Just an angle iron Frame and a Warn winch. This Tractor plows a big gravel drive in Winter and maintains it in summer. In 8 yrs. The only thing i had to Replace is the switch. I mounted The switch on the lift lever with a Home made bracket. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  8. I agree with all the advice given. Been painting cars, bikes, dump Trucks etc. For 40 yrs. Without Getting all technical primer is made To bond to a substrate. It also is Made to allow the topcoat to bond To it. If you were going to"flip" a Piece of equipment, you could de- Grease and shoot it. It would look Good, for about six months. If you A going to the trouble of stripping To bare metal you are cheating yourself in the long run. Primer for Sure. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  9. What a difference 6 months makes

We are up in northeast Ohio. Plowed my drive with my C121. Plowed my parents drive with Dads 312-8 Classic. Sorry no video. It was Really dark at 6 am. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  10. C-120 ELECTRIC LIFT ?

This may not be the conversion You mean, but it has worked well. It is on my C121. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  11. Moral decline

I did not see the post in question. That's fine. I enjoy reading the variety of posts to see if there is WH knowledge to be gleaned. I respond at times with a compliment. I Never offer tech advice unless I have personal experience with the subject. And I am a supporter. Felt guilty get- ting info and not paying my way. My next statement is not for any sympathy. I have attended three family funerals in ten weeks. Two were dearly loved old folks and God decided it was time. The third was a child. That can certainly put things in perspective. Things you thought were important... well you know. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  12. Same as last several years. Trusty C121. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  13. I use my C 121 as a plow tractor in winter. I maintain a large gravel drive in the summer. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  14. Complete Noob Got a Free Tractor - 520H

That "old lawnmower" will still be running when the new box store tractor poops out. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
  15. It's Not RED, but

Neat! Modern Tool and Die had plants in NE Ohio at one time. I dont know if they sent all their work offshore or not. They private labeled a lot of equipment for Kmart, hardware chains etc. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
