9 pointsIt’s been hectic with travel for work and I’m way behind on all my spring chores...like getting out on a lake and fishing! License (check), fishin gear (check), boat registered (check) ...boat un-winterized and plugs swapped and both batteries in, umm, nope . Finally got my rear in gear and she is ready for water. Launched tonite and the wife and I tore around the lake for an hour or so. No fishing but I like to give the boat and motor a good hard workout before I trust it in some faraway lake. She ran great! Now to get a couple of my lures wet ! And yes I know my ropes are a tangled mess!

9 pointsThat's along the lines I was thinking Dick for now.. Seat pan is totally shot and would be an insult to put one of Bob's nice covers on it. Should have a flat square one on anyway I think so that's on the BS list or Dan says he has a pan for it. Yes Craig it runs and drives. One rear has a gash in it but might be saved. with a re-tube. Original Firestone ags are hard to come by these days. Dan says keep the wobbly front rim on it to keep people guessing !

8 pointsI'm about ready! Just got to grab the back pack and I will be on my way in the morning.

8 pointsMine's homemade. Inspired by the Dino! Homeade weight hanger too! Generac Blue Genny on homemade bracket and an old mule drive cover modded into a belt guard.

Hitch side view This shop attachment keeps me motivated. There's noting like working in the shop and tending the pit

7 pointsLol.. WHX61/3 at the BS I went to in '16! They just keep dropping from the sky. Jeepers Cats I was 'posed to be selling a tractor here! All I said in thead was I didn't have the time to love it (the Snapper) because of my affliction for . She's a survivor all right. She's got a patina to match @953 nut 953 barn find. Obivouslyspent some time out in a pasture I hop in the back of the guy's truck and with a little coaching from the buyer/seller she fires right up two pulls. Runs really good and Dan says we'll take it! So since my 100 dollar limit on a non running tractor goes out the window I offer to take 150 off the 750 tag on the Snapper and it's time to unload and load. Turns out the guy is a hog farmer and used it to pull his hog roaster around at FFA events. The bad Tires are all toast and one front rim bent. The missing belt guard doesn't bother me as maybe ther will be one at the BS or even one to measure to repro. The thing that scares me is the PO ran it without one not realizing it is also the belt brake. Takes abit of grinding to get it in gear. Not quite sure what to do with it yet? Clean up, oil down and leave as is? Dan says maybe a Rat rod? No paint thats fer sure. More pics when I get her cleaned up a tad after the BS.

6 points@WHX20 you might just as well change to WHX21 and bring this one home.

6 pointsI took out the differential and discovered that the wheel bearing in the other side was also in very poor condition. Spent quite a bit of time today cleaning up the case half that was off and degreasing and depainting and derusting and priming it. Also obviously had to take out every single nut and bolt and washer and lock washer and wire brush all of those. Very time-consuming work but I really do enjoy doing this. @stevasaurus, I can see why you enjoy tinkering on Transmissions.

6 pointsLane's Low Rider. How much weight do you have in that truck bed??? You need to strap a couple of Kohler big blocks to the front bumper to even the load height out.
-
6 pointsDon't even worry about working on it. Just drag it with you to the show and I'll give you your money back + lunch from the confession stand😄! Just noticed it auto corrected to confession stand😂. Maybe there's more truth to that than we know!
-
6 pointsI would suggest a new (used) set of tires on freshly painted rims, a new @BOB ELLISON seat cover and don't play with the patina at all.
-
6 points....way to go Jim ! I think you should start using Roman numerals and really confuse everyone !

5 pointsHello, Just moved to Virginia, my wife bought a C165 from a guy locally for a lawn mower. I have since learned is it far more than the average lawn mower, now I am in the market for some attachments just don't know where to start. It has the hydro-static transmission, no leaks and runs great. First thing I would like to have is the rototiller and later maybe a push blade. Not sure what I need to do to make them work. Amy advice is appreciated and I will be searching and reading up on the machine a little here. Will upload some pictures when I am able. James

5 pointsI see perfect yard art... just the way it is. If it runs, and drives... all the better Jim.
-
5 pointsI think everyone is confused on the WHX? as some one said it's hard to keep up with a moving target Nice tractor Jim that will be a nice looking original with a little work.
-
5 pointsWell, this is more like what have to your horse in the last month, but finally the 312-8 Is done. 4 new turfs, new seat, scraped and painted the underside of deck, sharpened and balanced blades, re-cemented the leaking wheel weights, fixed the taillights, along with the electric lift, slot hitch, fuel line, headlight bezels, and I'm out of breath.

4 pointsSo I have been wanting to take my son (now 11 years old) to Gettysburg to see the civil war attractions. We decided to head to Gettysburg today and got here around 8pm after making a stop at Bass pro and dropping some coing on stuff we did not need... We plan on spending the day tomorrow in Gettysburg. Anyone have a starting point or a "must see" tour or attraction etc? Here are dome pics of the trip today... Last photo is the view from our hotel room...

4 pointsOkay, I have decided I am selling my model 401. In original patina, K91 runs good, smokes a little on start up. Tranny was rebuilt by Larry from Packrat Fabrications right before I got it last year, and I have only put a couple hours on it. New original OEM Kohler recoil starter, reproduction exhaust heat shield. I put a pair of mid 60's foot rests on the foot pegs. I just have too much trouble with the clutch on it and my weak left leg from MS as I can't tilt my foot up. Great round hood, loaded on the trailer, pick up at show. $425 Text me at 419-573-2122
-
4 pointsGot the trailer loaded today. I'll load the truck tomorrow. Think I better bring the F-150, It would be a 10 hour trip with the 312 pulling the trailer. I have some seats and axles and frames that I will not be bringing....unless someone lets me know by tomorrow night. BTW, just a reminder for the 12 guys that have preordered parts. I will be there Thur all day and Fri till noon. I have to be in Rehoboth Beach Del. for a baseball tourney Sat AM. Please look for me ASAP to get your parts. See Ya Thur. about 9 AM. Safe travels to all.

4 pointsShe's ready for the foot rests to dry! Thanks to Terry @Vinylguy and Lowell and Joette @wheelhorseman for quality parts to get me ready for the big show! Now maybe I should clean up the garage?
