    Looking for the front half of the chute for a tall chute single stage or 44" 2 stage. It goes inside the front of the chute to make more of a tube. thank you

    Yes it helps it go a tad further, but mainly keeps it in a closer, tighter pattern for more of a direct placement. In other words yes it helps significantly.

    I made my own enclosure from a piece of SST.    I can't really say it throws any farther, but it does keep the column of snow tighter  together and prevents it from spilling out the front of the chute.

    Yes it does make it throw farther, I made my own also, first put on the single went from average 20'+ to 30 distance, then put it on the deuce 40'+, Jeff.
