looking for a decent 520 air cleaner top

    Hi Chev0545,

My Air Cleaner top was in bad shape with all chrome flaking off, etc. Spent months/years looking for a nice one. All seemed to be the same as mine - flaking/rusty or over priced. Had a boat with a Yanmar diesel and wanted to touch-up the block. So sanded the Air Cleaner top and painted with Yanmar Gray. Does not look as good as chrome, but fairly nice.

    Cheers.

Mine did the same .I had primed it then took it to a graphics and signs shop they wrapped it with a chrome vinyl, they cut the excess off and it holds great been two years so far with it I like it and it only cost me $10 and a day of waiting.
