C-100 for Suburban or RJ (update - running good now)

    • Closed
      Price: TRADE
      Location: Downers Grove, Il

I bought this last fall wanting to try out plowing my driveway and it ran good around the yard. During the first snow it pushed good the first time out, then after sitting a few hours it was losing power and backfiring immediately during the next time out. Right now the carb is off and I've got a new sparkplug, points and condenser and a couple carb gaskets ready to go on it. But I don't feel like fiddling with it, plus the way my driveway and landscaping is setup, plowing didn't prove any easier than pushing a snowblower.

It's got new ags on the front and 2 sets of rear wheels - the original rims w/ turf tires and what I think are some JD rims with some older, pretty wide ags. The ags are too wide to run with the plow, but they look cool!  One of the fronts has a new tube in it since it was going flat. I think the plow is a 42" and is in good shape, has a welded up scraper bar with horsemat sandwiched between. Has plastic wheel weights as well.

Looking for an RJ or suburban to pull a cart around. Don't care too much about originality or being repowered as long as it runs good and is ready to go. I can throw in a little cash, too, if it's a nice one.

Alright, new points, condenser and sparkplug and it's running good again. Still would like to trade for a little Wheel Horse!
